Abstract
The Residence features four elevations with distinct treatments, expressing in each case the planimetric zoning. The southeast elevation faces the avenue, showcasing the study, the living room, and the main bedrooms, with a volumetric solution of two planes, meticulously crafted in its finishes. The southwest elevation, oriented towards Vista Hermosa Street, reveals the central staircase and an impressive stained glass topped by the bay window, following a symmetrical composition. To the northeast, the living room, the grand dining room, and the bedrooms open onto a flat and balanced facade. The northwest elevation indicates the service area and includes a secondary entrance. Both floors share identical plans and a fluid circulation through a central vestibule. The materialization emphasizes the predominant use of Oregon pine in structures and finishes, with a structural system of wooden frameworks in load-bearing walls and a truss roof, in addition to floor and ceiling frameworks. Although other materials are introduced in certain construction stages, oregon pine is preferably specified in exterior finishes, including cladding, horizontal planking, and decorative elements such as balustrades and balcony pillars.
