dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo forma parte de la serie monográfica, cuyo tema es la Arquitectura Religiosa; estudios patrocinados por el departamento de Arquitectura y Urbanismo de la Facultad de Arte y Tecnología, de la Universidad de Chile, sede Valparaíso y que tiene como profesora guía la arquitecto, señorita Myriam Waisberg I. El tema es interesante y personalmente, se ha logrado interiorización plena del ambiente cultural e histórico que circunscribe al desarrollo del trabajo específico y además, del general, que abarca las diferentes concepciones ideológicas y sociales del acontecer religioso a través del tiempo. al comienzo el estudio fue planteado de la manera de estudiar la orden de la sagrada familia en Valparaíso y viña del mar. al iniciar el proceso de recolección de antecedentes, se recopilaron primeramente datos obtenidos del seminario del alumno señor Luis Guillén, efectuado en el año 1976, el en que se presume a que capilla de Valparaíso era del siglo XIX. Al remontarse históricamente en búsqueda de sus fundadores, se pudo constatar la no relación con los de la viña del mar, por lo que el presente trabajo se aboco, exclusivamente, a la capilla de la sagrada familia de valparaíso, nombre que lleva hoy por pertenecer a esa orden.

dc.description.abstractThis work is part of the monograph series on Religious Architecture, sponsored by the Department of Architecture and Urbanism of the Faculty of Arts and Technology of the University of Chile, Valparaíso campus, under the guidance of Architect Myriam Weisberg I. The topic is interesting, and I have fully internalized the cultural and historical environment that surrounds the development of this specific work, as well as the general environment, which encompasses the different ideological and social conceptions of religious events throughout time. Initially, the study was planned to examine the order of the Holy Family in Valparaíso and Viña del Mar. When the process of collecting background information began, data were first compiled from the seminar of student Luis Guillén, conducted in 1976, in which it is presumed that the Valparaíso chapel was from the 19th century. However, when the founders of the chapel were historically traced, it was found that they were not related to the founders of the Viña del Mar chapel. Therefore, this work focuses exclusively on the Chapel of the Holy Family of Valparaíso, which is named as such today because it belongs to that order.
