Abstract
During my years of study at the university, I always used a flexible, sensitive method to develop my projects. In recent years, I have observed colleagues working with a different method in the history of architecture seminar, and this has led to a need for me to learn it. Conversations last year and readings from seminars on housing at the end of the 19th century and beginning of the 20th century in Playa Ancha have awakened my interest in knowing if we actually have a Chilean architectural base and if we were ever at the forefront, as in Europe.
